I had hoped to have photos of my new classroom to post today, but my (amazing) mom and sister (and even Kathryn's roommate- who is especially wonderful because it wasn't even a family obligation for him) worked at the school until 10PM last night finishing it up, and by the time we were all done, I was exhausted and left without a single picture. It is SO cute though (if I do say so myself); so, definitely expect a "classroom tour" soon.
In the meantime, in honor of today's link-up, I thought I'd just point you back to two posts I have already written about my classroom and organization here and here. I know many of you found my blog through these posts, so I apologize for no "new content" today. I promise I have lots of things I want to write about and share with you, I just have to get my "real life" together first. :)
That said, I did finally figure out how to create a more user-friendly printable of my Missing Work Log/ "Yellow Sheet." I have heard from several readers that Scribd is trying to charge for it now -- oh no no. So, click here for a link to the PDF to print and use in your classroom. (Explanation in the above posts.)
And now, the fun part...
I hope you will join me today and link-up below with a post (any post, it doesn't have to be brand new) you have written for teachers/ about teaching. This can be for any subject or level, just try to include that information in your link. Here are the official "rules," I posted earlier this week:
I think this could be an awesome resource for so many of us - I know I am always looking for more ideas and better ways to do things - as we get ready to kick-off a new school year. I'm so excited to see what you have to share. Love & thanks!
